Over the past few years, The Matt O'Ree Band has done what most area bands do. They've played their shows, developed their sound, released their records and very quietly built a massive fan base in the process.

What makes this band different from all the others is that their local fan base includes Bruce Springsteen, David Bryan and Steve Cropper, all of whom have volunteered to perform on the band's latest album, "Brotherhood".

NEW SHOW DATE- SUN, AUG 9TH

”Electrifying, raucous, pure Chicago blues….Lil’ Ed is a guitarist extraordinaire….slashing slide and flamboyant stage persona.” – Chicago Tribune

“Rough and ready blues played with unmitigated intensity…Swirling, snarling, riveting slide….The Blues Imperials pound out riffs and rhythms like they’re overdosing on boogie juice.  Scorching and soulful, joyous and stomping.” – Living Blues

In Chicago, a city overflowing with unrivaled blues talent, world-renowned Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials have been standing tall for almost 30 years. The band’s big sound, fueled by Lil’ Ed’s gloriously rollicking slide work and deep blues string bending, along with his rough-edged, soulful vocals, is as real and hard-hitting as Chicago blues gets. The Chicago Sun-Times says, “Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials are the hottest purveyors of bottleneck boogie to come out of Chicago since Hound Dog Taylor.”

Red Wanting Blue

POSTPONED

NEW SHOW DATE- TUE, SEP 29TH

Opening- Anthony D'Amato

“In every odyssey, there comes a time when you must accept that what you are
pursuing is no longer a rational decision,” Scott Terry writes in the liner notes of Red
Wanting Blue’s new album, ‘The Wanting.’ “It’s a choice that does not feel like a
choice. It is a hunger.”
It’s been more than twenty years since Red Wanting Blue first began their long,
strange odyssey, and while much has changed for Terry and the rest of the band over
those two remarkable decades, the hunger remains. Like the North Star, it’s fixed in
the firmament, a guiding light perpetually out of reach. Hunger has been their fuel,
their motivation, their essence. Hunger has steered every step of the group’s
extraordinary journey, and now, it’s at the heart of their most powerful record yet.
