Cold Shot is dedicated to capturing the electrifying energy and soulful sound of legendary Texas blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. With a burning passion for Vaughan's music, Cold Shot meticulously recreates the sonic landscape that made him a guitar icon.

The band's mission is to deliver an authentic experience, faithfully reproducing Vaughan's signature guitar work and powerful vocals. From the fiery licks of "Couldn't Stand the Weather" to the smooth grooves of "Pride and Joy," Cold Shot brings the spirit of Stevie Ray Vaughan's music to life for a new generation of fans.

Richard Shindell

Singer, songwriter, and musician, Richard Shindell divides his time between Buenos Aires, Argentina and New York’s Hudson Valley. Richard’s songs paint pictures, tell stories, juxtapose ideas, inhabit characters, and vividly evoke entire worlds along the way. Taking up the guitar at the age of eight, he spent his formative years learning the instrument and listening to a range of music. He released his first album, Sparrows Point, in 1992, and has a dozen more solo and collaborative records.

Richard is a member of Cry, Cry, Cry with past Folk Harbour performers Dar Williams and Lucy Kaplansky, and is also in the Pine Hill Project with Lucy. Richard has the distinction of being able to say Joan Baez is an established fan; indeed, Baez has covered several of his songs and invited Richard to tour with her. His complex and moving songs, delivered with attractive vocals and melodic, intricate guitar playing – not to mention relentless touring .

The Harrisons  

The Harrisons are a powerhouse husband and wife music duo that tours all over the NJ/NY/PA tri-state area. Performing nearly every genre of music on a wide variety of instruments (usually more than one at a time!), Christian and Jennifer create the sound of a full rock band with only two people!

Besides their busy gigging schedule, The Harrisons also compose, record, and produce their own original music in house at Grasshopper Studios located in their home in Andover, NJ.The Harrisons perform at a wide variety of venues.

Chris Duarte Group

To classify Chris Duarte simply as a Blues Man is an understatement.  In his own words, “rockin’ blues” or ”punk blues” describes him best.  “Ferocious blues” also fits.  Legend has it that Chris will play so hard that his fingers bleed in a set.  The legend is true.  Photos attest.

Chris Duarte is a road warrior playing more than 150 dates a year.  As well, Chris has headlined major festivals and clubs throughout the US, Canada and Europe.

Chris is a savant, a sorcerer of tone, a master at channeling the spirits and sounds of great musicians of our past, while remaining completely recognizable in his own sound.  He has shared his stage with many of the greatest musicians of our time as well as the multitude of “young lions” and local musicians he meets on the road.  From his many years as a side man in Austin, he easily changes roles from front to side, graciously allowing all to share the conversation of the jam.
