Red Wanting Blue

Opening- Anthony D'Amato

“In every odyssey, there comes a time when you must accept that what you are
pursuing is no longer a rational decision,” Scott Terry writes in the liner notes of Red
Wanting Blue’s new album, ‘The Wanting.’ “It’s a choice that does not feel like a
choice. It is a hunger.”
It’s been more than twenty years since Red Wanting Blue first began their long,
strange odyssey, and while much has changed for Terry and the rest of the band over
those two remarkable decades, the hunger remains. Like the North Star, it’s fixed in
the firmament, a guiding light perpetually out of reach. Hunger has been their fuel,
their motivation, their essence. Hunger has steered every step of the group’s
extraordinary journey, and now, it’s at the heart of their most powerful record yet.

Twenty Five Years of Hard Rocking Blues

Popa Chubby, born Ted Horowitz, has been hard rocking the blues in his fierce and soulful way for more than 25 years. Over the course of a career that dates back to 1994, he has been a force of to be reckoned with on the guitar, and his tempestuous, soulful playing has never been more powerful. An imposing figure with a shaven head, tattooed arms, a goatee and a performance style he describes as “the Stooges meets Buddy Guy, Motörhead meets Muddy Waters, and Jimi Hendrix meets Robert Johnson," Popa Chubby is an endearing character who is one of the genre’s most popular figures.

Scott Sharrard

Solo Performance

2018 GRAMMY nominee Scott Sharrard had been the touring guitarist for the Gregg Allman Band since the Fall of 2008. He’s been called “one of the best guitarists in the country” by Billboard. Gregg Allman, had high praise for the guitarist. “I know all about guitar players —I’ve seen the very best — and Scott Sharrard is the perfect guitarist for my band. He understands that you don’t need to play just for the sake of playing; Scott isn’t one of those guys who thinks they’re getting paid by the note. He never steps on the vocals, and leaves plenty of room for everyone else to do their thing, but when it’s time to solo, Scott delivers, boy.”

Jarod Clemons and The Late Nights

Jarod Clemons and The Late Nights fused their musical talents in June 2019 and have since  been a continuous driving force with their contagious passion for rock music. These five extraordinary musicians bring magic to the stage and the ability to mesmerize their audience with original music and covers which don’t disappoint. The band’s rendition of Prince’s, “Purple Rain” is an exhibition of true showmanship. From the inception of the first guitar chord, the  song is recognizable and undeniably, a firebrand, setting the stage ablaze!

A Florida native, Clemons recently decided to pack up his bags and become a permanent resident of Asbury Park, NJ  - the home of music history, rock legends, and where music runs through one’s veins. Aside from being a frontman in The Late Nights Band, Clemons also performs as a solo artist and has graced the stage with such talents as Brian Kirk and the Jerks, Michael Ghegan, and JT Bowen. Tyler, DiNunzio, and Verdi, all New Jersey natives, are also members of “The Dead Flowers”, and received accolades in 2017 for the “Rock To The Top” band competition, and have released two singles - “So Damn Easy”, and “What I’m Looking For”. Fuhring is the newest member to the band and brings about a cool, rocker’s creed which is simple, but devastatingly effective. You can also catch him playing with Monmouth County based band, “The Chrills”.

John Fogerty. We finally decided to do something about it in collaborating on a tribute act for the music we grew up with and played throughout our musical career. Being in bands and playing the circuit of Rock, Country, Blues and Pop, it was time for something different. Something we can devote our hearts to as a team of professional musicians.
