Jason Ricci & The Bad Kind

This show scheduled for 4/13 has been postponed due to the death of their drummer.  A future date will be announced.  No refunds will be issued at this time.

Thanks,

LRMR

I have to cancel the remaining dates of the April tour. I'm sorry to all of you who made plans, plane tickets, air BnBs, hotels,  babysitters etc, I'm sorry to the clubs and to everyone. This sucks, it's a tough decision. We had a great show with Geraci and band and wish we could bring you all that same show but we now cannot. This is not something I want to do emotionally, musically, intellectually or spiritually. I promise you that Jason Ricci and The Bad Kind featuring Kaitlin Dibble WILL do all of our future dates, rehearsed, sounding great and as best as we can, as we attempt to recover from the devastating loss of the heartbeat of this band that was John Peter Perkins.

Sincerely,

Jason Ricci

Chris Smithers_edited.jpg

Chris Smither

"Bathed in the flickering glow of passing headlights and neon bar signs, Smither's roots are as bluesy as they come. There is plenty of misty Louisiana and Lightnin' Hopkins in SMither's weathered singing and unhurried picking. So fine!"

Rolling Stone Magazine

Having distilled his own signature sound of blues and folk for over 50 years, Chris Smither is truly an American original. A profound songwriter, Chris continues to draw deeply from the blues, American folk music, modern poets and philosophers. From his early days as the New Orleans transplant in the Boston folk scene, through his wilderness years, to his reemergence in the 1990's as one of America's most distinctive acoustic performers, Chris Smither continues to hone his distinctive sound. He may be best known for writing "Love You LIke a Man '' recorded by both Bonnie Raitt and Diana Krall and his music has been featured in numerous films, commercials and covered by many other artists.
